Happy turkey day!
Friday, November 28, 2008 2:51I should have posted this earlier but didn’t, but now that I’m drunk here we go.
The FaceBook ad manager didn’t make it out on time. No not because I’m lazy but with Thanksgiving and relatives I just didn’t have nearly enough time this week to finish it up. Also some rookie on WF totally stole my steam and posted some FireFox plug-in that works pretty sweet with FB to do lots of stuff I had planned. I’m not saying he’s wrong, or that I’m angry. It’s pretty cool he released it for free, good addition to the community IMHO. So kudos to him.
Guess it’s stupid to release program details before it’s done. Don’t worry won’t happen again.
However I am expanding the program a little bit to do some other things – that I’m not going to mention because I don’t want them to get ripped off right away. But now that the holiday is over for me, I’ll be back cranking full steam for the most part.
Got a new PC on the way so I can beef up production, because my current laptop is a pile. Honestly I should post pictures of it. It’s hilarious! My friends make fun of the ghetto laptop continuously, if you guys want pictures let me know I’ll post them. I have been debating on getting a new system the last 3 years and always just made this pile of shit work. But it’s about 10 – 14 days out yet before I get the new system.
So the FaceBook manager is done – when it’s done. It’ll be cheaper than I had originally planned (no one put down money anyways). However it’s not being released until I’m happy that it’s 100% done – because I’m not Microsoft. I don’t release shit that isn’t done. I’m also looking for a few (2 or 3) beta testers. Prerequisites are you are a respectable member at WF and you do a bit of FB work. Your get the software for free in light of a review and testing. So hit up with a PM on WF if your interested. I also want to hear what features you guys really want to see.
I’m also free to do other programming. If you need some PHP, HTML, Java Script, AJAX, or Java done hit me up. It’s not cheap as hell (I’m not Indian) but I give solid discounts to regular customers (depending on the project), on top of total tech support and the such. I go above and beyond for my clients.
Besides that, go make monies.
