Battle of The UK Yahoo Search Marketing $1700 Charge

So what do you know, I sign up with Yahoo! UK Search Marketing because I couldn’t find a way to market to the UK from my US account.
Note I have used Yahoo! quite a bit and in no way did I really think I’d get charged £1,000.00. From my experience they either charge your account as you go, or if your like me I like to pre-pay it. So why there was such a huge initial charge is confusing. I didn’t exactly read the fine print, or some of the larger stuff.
Anyways the conversion rate is £1 : $1.74 so you do the math.
Keep that in mind if you ever sign up with them. I already sent them a support ticket, and since Yahoo! doesn’t roll 24/7 I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get an answer. Oui!
